  • So, the trip to the dentist wasn't that bad, of course we ended up doing work on a different tooth (hey-- I held and was responsible for the majority of the suctioning, so I can say "we"). Right now, my jaw is a little hurty from the injections, but the drilling and filling were physically painless. I *really* hate the drilling. I pretty much had to mentally talk myself through it "it's okay... it will be over soon..." I did little mental imagery things to try and distract myself from the anxiety like repeating the alphabet and forcing myself to visualize the sign language hand shapes for each letter. Anyway, it's over... until next week, when we have to do the tooth we were supposed to do today. And then sometime after that to crown the tooth they did the root canal on. It's a good thing I like my dentist because I am going to be seeing a lot of her.

Then, I finally called Marriott and got the ball rolling, as far as reserving a block of rooms for May, I am now just waiting for them to email me the contract. I also emailed the coordinator at the Stimson-Green Mansion to confirm the time for the rehearsal and to ask some logistics questions (like... so if I pick a florist, I assume the florist and I will need to do a walkthrough of the mansion to figure out how many and where arrangements should go, right?).

Oh... and have I missed something? Why is the spellchecker on xanga saying that "okay" is misspelled? Anyone? Have I been misspelling this word my whole life?
